Citizenship in the Community & Citizenship in the World MB Workshops @ Scout Hut
Apr 22 @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
I plan to run these in a condensed format with class meetings as well as individual assignments. Doing so will enable the scouts to progress through the requirements in roughly 7 weeks. Citizenship in the Community has several requirements for which the scouts will need to attend external sessions. This will include a Town Council meeting as well as a Q&A session with a local leader. These sessions will need to be scheduled based upon availability. As such, the actual class schedule will evolve over the next few weeks. That being said, I would like to offer the first class on Sunday, March 4th. The classes will meet once per week (excluding the weekends of Spring Break) and conclude by Sunday, April 22. The tentative schedule for class meetings is as follows: March 4th March 11th April 15th April 22nd (if necessary) Between these dates, we’ll have to schedule the Town Council meeting, a Q&A session with a local leader, and 8 volunteer hours.
