Yorktown Aircraft Carrier Campout
Feb 9 @ 8:00 am – Feb 10 @ 4:00 pm
Here are some things from the Yorktown staff:
  • Sleeping locations are divided by gender.
  • Please pack accordingly: It becomes difficult to split gear in the ship.
  • All luggage must be carried up steep ladders to access the sleeping areas.
  • Bring our pillows or sleeping bags.
  • We Do Not have extra bedding.
  • Bring your own toiletries on the ship, we Do Not have extras if you forget yours.
  • There will be a MANDATORY FIRE DRILL on the evening of your arrival that every camper must attend.
Other than these have fun, follow the rules, don’t go into places that are supposed to be off limits, and stay with a buddy because this is a big ship and you could become lost.

Jun 16 @ 8:00 am – Jun 22 @ 5:00 pm
Trip details at seabase.org As a reminder, scouts must be 14 years old and star rank by the date of the trip. The fee per crew is $7,250. Travel expenses to Saint Thomas are not included. Committing to this trip means also committing to fundraising to cover these costs as well. Furthermore, there will be mandatory meetings and team building activities(required for both scouts and participating adults). We will go on at least one campout to foster bonding as a patrol. This will allow us to embark on the adventure as a cohesive team. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you. In Scouting, Teddy Kotz Edward A.
